No Substitution
Through a confluence of events, my mind is on the idea of substitution.
One reason is it’s Easter, a holiday I celebrate based on the belief that Christ died a substitutionary death for me and my sins.
Another reason I’m thinking about the concept is because of a conversation I was having with my bride about the Great Replacement Theory.
This horrendous theory motivates the actions of White Supremacists worldwide and in the United States.
The theory goes that Black and other non-White people are trying to eradicate the White race by replacing them.
The Replacement Theory is fueled by current migration patterns, the growth of non-White populations, and the decrease in White European birthrates.
It’s the reason you’re hearing Christian Nationalists in the US say White women must stay at home, obey their husbands and have babies.
Many, many babies.
This theory is loony on its own merits, but what makes it even loonier is the fear behind the theory.
The “what disaster is going to befall White people when Black and Brown people take over the world” thinking.
We know that with White Supremacists, every accusation is a confession.
The president’s last campaign said Kamala Harris would have us in a world war.
The campaign said gas prices would skyrocket.
It said that she would be easily manipulated by other world leaders.
That’s exactly what has happened on HIS watch.
White people fear being replaced not only because majorities don’t like becoming minorities.
White people fear being replaced because they know what they like to do to non-Whites when they are in charge and can get away with doing anything they please.
Look at the Nazis.
They herded Jews and other undesirables into ghettos.
They restricted their movements, forbade them from conducting commerce.
They massacred them.
We don’t have to theorize what evil White Anglo Saxons would do if they could do everything they want to do.
We’ve already seen it.
Some White Americans are afraid they would be lynched like Black and Brown Americans have been lynched.
They are afraid they would be segregated with “non-White restaurants,” “non-White drinking fountains,” non-White swimming pools,” and “non-White schools.”
They are afraid they would be herded into ghettos.
They are afraid of being sent to concentration camps and murdered.
Here’s the truth about the Great Replacement Theory:
Non-White people are seeking freedom and opportunity.
We’re not trying to replace anyone; we’re just trying to live life.
As for what would happen if non-Whites took over the world, what would happen to White people?
I’ll tell you.
We would leave most white people the hell alone.
We’d let you segregate yourselves.
We’d let you do whatever you wanted to do unless it interfered with us.
We’d leave you to revel in your culture.
We wouldn’t want to be bothered with many of you, so we would leave you alone.
If current trends continue, White people should just watch and wait.
We would be happy and free.
White people would be happy and free.
Just wait and see.
