Go Away, Mr. Robinson

NC's Lieutenant Governor wants to be the state's Governor. He's bad news.

It’s getting harder to keep track of the right-wing Black Republicans working overtime to appeal to Trumpers.

One of the worst is Mark Robinson, the Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina currently running for Governor.

Robinson takes the most reactionary, right-wing position on every subject, hanging off the edge of the fringe.

He became famous when he gave an anti-gun control speech in 2018. At the time, he said,

“When are you all going to start standing up for the majority. And here’s who the majority is. I’m the majority.”

“I’m a law-abiding citizen who’s never shot anyone, never committed a serious crime, never committed a felony. I’ve never done anything like that. But it seems like every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to blame … put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter’s feet. You want to put it at my feet.”

After the Parkland school shooting, he derided the survivors who spoke out as

“Spoiled, angry, know it all CHILDREN,”

“Spoiled little bastards,”

and

Media prosti-tots.”

He's now a favorite speaker at NRA events, where he’s said that he owns an AR-15

“in case the government gets too big for its britches.”

Robinson is:

·       Islamophobic, calling American Muslims:

"INVADERS" who "refuse to assimilate to our ways while demanding respect they have not earned."

·       Antisemitic, saying that the movie “Black Panther” was

"created by an agnostic Jew and put to film by satanic Marxists."

and

 "only created to pull the shekels out of your Schvartze pockets." (Schvartze is Yiddish for Black).

·       Homo- and Transphobic:

 "Homosexuality is STILL an abominable sin and I WILL NOT join in 'celebrating gay pride.”

“There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth.”

And said that the transgender movement “is demonic and is full of the spirit of the antichrist.”

He believes that COVID-19 was a “globalist” conspiracy to defeat Donald Trump, wants to remove science and social studies from the first to the fifth grade, and supports school vouchers.

Robinson is seeking to be the leading Uncle Tom politician in the USA.

He is also guilty of financial improprieties during his lieutenant governor’s race, and for all of his anti-abortion rhetoric, admitted that he paid for his future wife to get an abortion when she became pregnant while they were dating.

In other words, he has the right amount of hypocrisy to fit in with the Trump crowd.

Mark Robinson is an embarrassment to Black people, and most wouldn’t claim him as a member of the race.

He has the potential to be even more embarrassing to the state of North Carolina.
