The former president is running for office again for many reasons.
Pride.
Arrogance.
Trying to stay out of jail.
We also know that he has a burning desire to become a fascist dictator.
He loves strongmen like Kim in Korea, Orban in Hungary, and most of all, Putin in Russia.
His greatest affection for a world leader centers on Vladimir Putin.
He loved him so much that he sent him sample COVID 19 tests to Putin while so many people in the US were dying, we had to create makeshift morgues.
One of the earliest signs that the former president was going to favor Putin was on May 10, 2017. On that date, the former president met unannounced with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak. The former president disclosed highly classified information, doing so in a manner that revealed sensitive intelligence information and the likely source of the intelligence.
Another unannounced meeting visit to Washington, D.C., in January 2018 by the directors of Russia's three main intelligence and security agencies. Two of these directors were on the U.S. sanctions list. After this controversial meeting, the Trump administration did not impose new sanctions on Russia by the deadline outlined by the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act.
The apex of the former president’s sympathetic actions toward Putin and Russia occurred at the 2018 Helsinki summit between the two countries. At this summit, the former president stated that Russia did not interfere with the 2016 elections, which contradicted American intelligence reports and common sense.
The former president has shown the Russian tyrant an extreme amount of deference, too much for someone whose existence is predicated on undermining our republic.
There’s a lot of ways he’s shown love to Putin, and the reasons for this love are much debated.
Some say it’s because the Russian dictator possesses some sort of blackmail material, including an oft-discussed sex tape.
Others believe it is a form of demented hero-worship, with the former president trying to ingratiate himself with someone he inspires to be.
Regardless of the reason, we know he undermined our intelligence service, meaning he undermined our country.
We know he took state secrets to Mar-a-Lago.
We know he likely sold state secrets to the highest bidder.
Therefore, we know he is the highest security risk possible.
Which is one of two million reasons he is unelectable.
Another reason is his desire to become another Kim.
Another Putin.
We don’t need any more of those because we have too many of those.
We definitely don’t need one leading the United States of America.
